I just purchased 3 pucks of Honeybee Spa soap. Do I need to keep these sealed when not in use or can I leave the puck in my shave cup?
What is the best way to get lather? I've read where you soak the brush, shake or let the excess water drip off, then swirl the bristles approx 20 times on the puck, and finally lather on the face. I've also read where people lather in a cup. What is the procedure on that?
HBS is a very forgiving soap, I would only suggest putting a couple of tablespoons of very hot water on the top of the soap at first... Then shake out the brush vigorously and swirl on top of the soap to load it, if you are lather bowling pour the soapy water from top of the soap into the lather bowl before loading the brush, and then whisk away in the bowl.... If face lathering leave it on top of the soap and whisk away... You can always add water it is harder to take it away....
There are very few variables to successful lather and the amount of water is the biggest one....
Oh yeah foamy stuff is not lather, it should be rather creamy in consistency almost like sticking yer brush in warm "CoolWhip"
Covered the only reason is the scent it will where down especially not covered tight. Other then that no reason to.Quote:
