Rose Scented Soap: C&S vs. GFT???

Hello,

I am interested in trying a nice rose scented shaving soap. From what I have read QED's Wild Rose is at the forefront but the odds of me actually getting my hands on some is about as likely as gravity to all of the sudden stop working :banghead:

I have read some older threads and GFTs Rose scent and the C&S #88 Rose soap I see mentioned a lot.

Has anyone here used both? Which do you prefer and why? What can I expect from them each in scent, lather, and moisturizing?

Beyond that, I have been able to locate the GFT soap but have had no such luck in finding where to purchase the C&S, if anyone knows this information I would greatly appreciate it! :)

Lastly are there any other rose soaps that I should seriously consider? Anything new that might be out and about there now? I am also getting ready to order a sampler of soaps from Colleen, does anyone know if they have plans to offer a Rose scent? I can always just shoot them out an e-mail.

The Trumper's is a true rose scent. It is excellent in scent and lather.

The C&S #88 is rose infused, but has alot more complexity, smells sort of like a potpurri or something. Also good lather performance.

Trumpers is sort of rose. It's really a mild rosey spicy scent. I don't like it as much as C&S.

Most rosey rose: SRD Bulgarian Rose essential oil - awesome. I like it much better than the QED rose which was a fragrance oil scent (and lovely but not for me)

I haven't tried the other glycerine soap maker roses like MB - they are probably good too.
