Has anyone had any experience with this brand? It was given to me and is the first I have tried. Just wondering how it compares to some of the other products out there. My only complaint is that it seems to "dry" on my face before I can get shaved.

Trumper's shaving cream is the primo-stuff. In my experience it is very high end and yields a really nice shave. If your lather is drying out, you might want to try hydrating it it a bit more - dried out lather often just doesn;t have enough water.
I love Trumpers Line of shave creams. I have the sandalwood and Lime, and everything from the cushion to the glide is great. Again if your lather is drying out u just need some more water. Try starting out with a pretty dry brush, and add a little water at a time, soon enough u will learn where each creams sweet spot is. :)
So do you spread the cream on your face and then brush it, or put the cream on the wet brush first? I have been told both ways.
Well I bowl lather, So I soak my brush in the bowl with hot water while i take my shower.
Then I empty the bowl and shake out my brush(pretty thoroughly i want a damp brush) then I put some cream out either in the tub or tube, and smear it in the bottom of the bowl. Then i go to town on it adding alittle bit of water at a time.

I have been missin out! Bowled shave cream this morning and it was great! Mounds of soft cream. Now I'm starting to get it. Thanks for the help
Bowl lathering is the only way to go, brother. I have tried other ways, but the bowl is what I always go back to. It's easy, produces tons of nice thick lather, and I can always get the perfect consistency. Welcome to the club!
P.S. I also have lime, and it's awesome. My personal favorite, however, has got to be the coconut. Amaaaaaaazing lather.
