BOTH FOR ME
Hello, ri7ani:
I dare not deprive myself of seeing my lather turn into a luxurious cloud in the scuttle or lather bowl.
Sometimes, though, when using a boar brush, I face-lather. I always face-lather when using Mitchell's Wool Fat. Also, when traveling, I always face-lather.
Regards,
Obie
with my omega i lather straight on my face , kinda massaging,,,with my badger i alternate between the two.
it think it also depends on the cream or soap you are using,,i use proraso, gada and williams (been only a couple of days now that i discovered williams,,amazing stuff for 1.99$ ,,,needs a little scent though)
proraso for me is almost always straight to the face
gada (tube) in a bowl
williams in a bowl
i ordered the art of shaving sandalwood and i can almost see my self going straight to the face (((once it arrives ofcourse)))
anyone out there lathers outside a bowl or a scuttle or directly on the face???? if yes, what do you use???
I almost exclusively bowl lather, although I have enjoyed face lathering as well. I was going to choose alternate, but it's more like 97/3 ratio.
I checked both. When using creams, I lather in a bowl. When using soaps,i go straight to the face.
I scuttle lather on the weekends when I have time to enjoy it.
During the weekdays I'll either face lather in the shower, and recoat when I'm out
OR....
I'll face lather in the shower first, and when I'm out I'll rinse and hand lather a second batch. I like to hand lather because of the visual and tactile simultaneously. I also love the opulence of "painting" an already thick lather onto my face.
I really really want to know who chose "Other" and what that other is!
