Absolutely wonderful stuff. Probably the best cream I've ever tried. ThreePutt gave me samples of CF Limes and Lavendar. Once the samples were gone, I shed a tear....I just can't bring myself to pay quite that much for a shaving cream...even if it is the best.
Ed
I also got a sample from a guy on another forum and that stuff really only takes a dab of cream for great lather. I had the lavendar cream and it was a wonderful scent. I agree with Ed though, the cost is kinda high but it you don't mind paying it, then definatly give it a try. I don't think you can go wrong with it.
It does last quite awhile, especially if you have it in a rotation with other products. $32 or $35 spread over several months isn't too bad. Is that what it costs these days? See, told ya it lasted awhile. I haven't gotten through my first tubs yet, not by a long shot.
Jeff
Yes its $35 + shipping.

I had a sample of this stuff in Lavendar and I thought it was nice but it does cost alot compared to many other very nice creams for half the price.
How does the CS Lavander compare to GFT Violet or TOB Lavender?Quote:

Anyway if I compared the TOB St James to the CF Lavander, the CF lathers fast and thick with a small amount and little work. Other than that I don't think its that fancy compared to say TOB or Nancy Boy or even the soaps from Mama Bear or Colleen.
I guess I am trying to say for the price it just isn't that much better compared to creams and soaps half its price or less. If you want lavendar, get a nice cologne.

You might ask him.

The problem is deciding if I want a cologne like GFT that is called lavender water but has other fragrances in it, or if I want something like TOB lavander water which is just an aftershave....I am actually contemplating simply using lavender EO...after all you dont get much more lavander than that. I am also having our soapmistress work on some ideas for me when she has some free time eventually ;)Quote:
