Default TSA Made Me Dump My Shaving Creams!!!!

Well I was travelling today and it was early, before they had gotten the signs posted everywhere. I had just heard that you could have no hairspray, liquids, or suntan lotion on your carry ons...so I pack my spray on deoderant, and my aftershave as well as my toothpaste and figure I am fine....well I get up to the check point after waiting 2 hours to go through security and I find out I have to dump my shaving creams (READ: Trumpers and AOS) because my bags have already been checked I couldnt even get out of line to pack them (and I would have had to wait another 2-3 hours to get back through security). So now I have no shaving cream or shaving soap (I was out of that already)

I was to sad at the time to be pissed off....now Im over the sadness and just pissed off!!!!

Grr....off to find more shaving creams and soaps...and spend more money and get yelled at by the wife (I probably would have done that anyway though)

    Damn.
Sorry to hear that. That's quite a loss. As usual, these people are overreacting, but I guess it's for our own safety.

Apparently you can't even take water on the plane any more. If I was an air line, I'd start charging 10$ for a pop on the plane

Nope I bought a water right next to the terminal and couldnt bring it on the plane. I really hope they do start selling bottles of water, because I usually go through 1 - 2 liters per flight...I dont think they would charge that much...the flight attendants dont want to get beat up...and people are very pissed off right now, I have never witnesseed a more polite staff than yesterday, they were all afraid of an entire planefull of people getting very upset at them.

I propose that all passengers be locked
in shackles once they board the plane.
They would remain this way until the
plane gets to where ever it's going.

If a passanger is changing planes they
would remain in the shackles and lead
by heavily armed TSA agents through
the airport to their next plane.

Couldn't get any safer than that.

I was merely joking. I've never seen an airline charge for water. Even pop most of them give out for free (depending who you fly with).
Some even have free booze... go Star Alliance!

    Terry,
in addition, the passengers should also be drugged. This way, maybe I'll be able to sleep on a plane.

The funny thing is that in a few weeks time, they'll start easing off on the securiy measures again. If I wanted to blow up a plane, I would just lean back and wait...

    PEE!!! Did you say PEE????

PEE is a liquid and liquids are banned from
flights. Throw that man in irons right this
minute. No wait he's already in irons.

I really feel sorry for folks flying from Britain to the US. All they can bring on board is their wallet and their ticket. Not even a book is allowed. I'd go out of my mind on a long overseas flight without a book or iPod or something like that. I think they're going a bit overboard with all this. Even the flight attendants can't bring make-up on board with them. Good grief!
