It's official: I dislike Cyril Salter Wild Rose

Shaved with this for the third time today, and must say that I really don't like it. It was demoted today from its place on my shaving shelf to the hall closet. Some day years from now when I run out of shaving cream, I will probably opt for the Nivea cream in a can (circa 1999) over this tub.

Smell: It doesn't smell like roses (I'm spoiled by the AoS rosewater spray, which smells _exactly_ like the intoxicating heirloom roses in my garden), it smells kind of like scented toilet paper. Worse, the scent makes me wheeze at first, so it's got something in it that I'm allergic to. But the worst part is that the lather is pretty dry (even when it's wet) by which I mean it doesn't leave slickness behind after you wipe it off with the razor. I'm relatively inexperienced when it comes to good creams, but the AoS stuff I've used (both cream and soap) mostly leaves my face nice and slick in the blade's wake.
