I have three tubs of Mama Bears. I've found that a little goes a long way, like others have been saying. It's a little deceptive at first, as your first pass will seem like it has plenty of good lather, but then the next two passes the lather will seem pasty and will need more water. It's easy to overload your brush.
Today was the first shave with Mama Bear's.
Took the advice offered by BenjaminBarker and soaked the puck in piping hot water during the shower. Drained it off, loaded the badger bristles and began working it in the bowl, alternately hydrating and whisking. In less than 60 seconds, the bowl was overflowing with luxurious, creamy, fragrant lather. Mama Bears is FANTASTIC!
Thanks for the tips.
Ya just tried my Masonic Lodge again today (3rd time used). Very allergic to it. anyone wants to trade with me for it PM me.
Yeah and a hint of powder. To me it reminds me of my grandfathers barbershop. I think that is why I like the scent so much. I haven't experimented with the citrus scents of Mama Bear's. Let me know what you think of them.
I have a few pucks of Mama Bear's soap and have been very pleased with them and their selection and performance. The scent starts out strong and then starts to fade away the more you use it.
