Just pulled the trigger on a couple soaps I've promised myself for a few years I would try.
1. Tabac: Don't know why it took me this long but anyway its inbound in stick form
2. Cella: Another that I've seen around and heard lots of rave reviews about but just never got around to.
Alas, the wait begins.

For me now that's its getting colder again I'm pulling out cella more often. I love the stuff! Enjoy!
I have been telling myself for a couple years now to get some tabac soap just never got around to it, i have the Cologne and love the smell. Hope you wait goes quick
They are the only soaps I have reordered.... You will enjoy them... Keep us posted
Tabac ought to be a permanent feature in every dude's den :) Lovely stuff especially in the autumn/winter months!
I agree, Tabac is a soap that should be in every man's shave den!
The Barge is In! They both smell absolutely fantastic. Gotta love coming home to a package with shave gear! Although I've already had my shave today, I'll probably be hard pressed not to do an unscheduled haircut after PT tonight.

Tabac is my king soap, also like cella. Tabac is the soap I compare others to. Performance, ease of lather and scent is what I compare. Some others beat them on scent, come equal to performance, but all three at the same time? No, it is still King in my book. Did I mention I like Tabac? Double O

Soaps I've tried:
1. VDH Deluxe and Glycerin (of the two I prefer glycerin but it's hard to find locally and if I'm gonna order soap on line it won't be VDH.)
2. Williams again locally available, cheap but kind of picky and only passable lathering
3. The Shave Den: All over the map but the two stand outs were Iced Sub Zero and Coconut Lime Verbena
4. The Gentlemen's Quarter: Tried a couple the best was Leatherneck
5. Shavesticks- Palmolive, Speick (I really like Speick) of course Arko (great stuff cheap, easy lathering, great shaves, a great value for the money)
6. L'Occitane Cade and Mitchell's Wool Fat (these two are tied for first place both are fantastic.)
7 Cella maiden voyage was tonight's unscheduled haircut. I kind of get the idea it would do better mug lathered than the direct method. Good lather though and it smelled nice too.
8. Tabac will get the maiden voyage tomorrow morning
9. Clearly Natural Honeysuckle: Although not really a purpose built shaving soap the glycerin content makes it a decent shave soap, nice thick, slick lather. Locally available at Publix for about $1.25 a bar. I've been thinking of trying it out as a pre-shave.
