So i finally got around to ordering my naniwa 12k and realized I was about 30 dollars short of free shipping so I had no choice I did what any "normal" person would do...I added about another 70 dollars in creams (that's what everyone else would do right?)

You would of been crazy not to buy the creams!!! i would of did the same thing... lol
The creams come in yesterday (the 12k as well). Upon initial smelling I'm not sure how i feel about the TOBS St James, but will use it a few times and see it changes my mind. The other two (rose and lavender) smell awesome, i know they should all later up nicely.
Let us know about the TOBS St James after you shave with it. See if it grows on you.
not familiar with the St James, but you can't go wrong with the Three T's...
