Yet ANOTHER acquisition disorder, SnAD, rears its funny little head. Is one enough? Doesn't matter that zero has been enough so far. Must now revisit all the antique stores, if they'll still let me in...
When a child,I had a small metal toy. Heavy construction miniture thing. It had tracks, a boom and a Clamshell with a cable attached.
Turn a small crank, lower the clamshell and pic up little things.
This would IMO, be perfect for transporting shaving cream from the orig container to the scuttle.
Since we're talking about vitally important topics here what do you use to keep your soap dish from dancing around on the counter. I mean there is nothing more disconcerting than loading my brush and the soap is coating the sides bottom of the dish and I put it down on the counter and it dances all over the place. Sometimes it even falls into the sink. This is so upsetting to me I just can't go on..... Someone help me!
I use a stainless Lab Spatula, but a wooden coffee stir stick works just as well. A must with some whipped creams like AOS or the water from the brush will dissolve the cream.
You only need a ½ inch dollop to make a good thick lather.
TBS, cut a circle the size of your soap tub from rubber drawer liner.
Cut in strips with a paper cutter the size of your stones, it will also cushion in storage or keep them from dancing if you don’t use a holder.
Ok...What is the exact measurement in a snurdle? Seems a standard exists. In cc's please! I am going to make a snurdle soon and want it to be a proper one!
Better question. Do some soaps use 2 snurds to some soap's one?
Could hard soaps be snurdled with an "ice cream scoop" shaped snurdle?
And finally, Are snurdles really worth it? The brush works fine to me, although, I seem to waste some, esp softer soaps and cremes.
Inquiring minds need to know! :)
