I didn’t even know the game was on tonight ….my guide said Wednesday…then I put the channel to our local news at 11 pm …and caught the last 4 minutes …lol
We have a series now ...
Didn’t get to see the game…..did the Aves have trouble playing at sea level…lol
Going into Ovah Time ! It’s nut cut’n time for Tampa ……
What’s a game ! Colorado turned up the wick in the 3rd Period and it carried over into ovahtime….and Tampa couldn’t hang. Aves up 3-1 ..and back to Colorado for game 5. All up hill for Tampa now..They give no Trophies for winning 3 games though.
Unfortunate loss at home for the Lightning. It is all uphill from here but not undoable...and yes, I did notice a difference in the avalanche game at sea level. That air has got to be like breathing soup for them. That pengilum swings both ways. That makes it even harder for the Lightning now.
I guess we'll see.
The Aves were having a hard time hitting their passes and it was slowing down their game, once the passes started to land on sticks it came together
I think the whole avalanche team should be drug tested….it looks Lance Armstrongish to me…
I have a friend on one of the Jazz Forums I frequent, from Canada, that got me in the habit of listening to Jazz while watching Hockey. He would turn the volume of the TV OFF and play Jazz on his stereo while watching Hockey. I started doing that about 5 years ago. And now it's a habit. For Hockey and Baseball, my two favorite sports.
It may sound odd, but Jazz really lends itself well to Hockey. The constant action on the ice, almost like a ballet of battle, matches well to Classic Jazz vibes. Baseball does too, but with slower Night Club Cocktail Jazz because of the slower pace of Baseball VS Hockey.
I'm an American but my favorite team used to be the Montreal Canadiens, followed by the Edmonton Oilers and then the Toronto Maple Leafs. For American teams I follow the Black Hawks, the Red Wings and the Sabres. I'd be in seventh heaven if the Sabres won the cup. I've been following them since the "French Connection" when I was a kid.
