Yeah that was a good show. I was glad to see them win on their centennial show night. Although the little boy did get to score against them in his second NHL game.
I guess we'll see if he really has got what all the muckety mucks say he has. They sure are in a lather over him. This happens all the time with these kids that are so good in the juniors. I guess it happens in every sport. Once they get in with the big dogs they find out that EVERYONE there is a star, not just them. Very few really rise to the top.
Sadly by a.feeak accident we lost a young player who played in Britain for the Sheffield Steelers. Condolences to his family and to his young fiancee. It is such a tragedy for the whole hockey community there. What a horrible thing for the other player whose skate blade cut him by accident and a terrible thing to witness for all in attendance.
