question about stroping technique

You seem to be turning your wrist on your return stroke. In my humble opinion it is best to flip the razor with your fingers and keep your wrist as parallel as possible with the strop, this way your blade sits flatter and has better contact on the leather.

Thanks bill, that has made "X" as in x stroke make sense to me, it is what I do too, so that is reassuring.

It just make sense to me to use an X stroke with a hanging strop,which is maliable.Maybe not as important on a paddle.
