Mastro Livi travel loom strop! It perfectly fits in my luggage: handy, small and efficient.
I've been carrying my SRD roo strop in my duffel bag to work for a couple years before I retired and now it still travels in my bag on the bike,, not that tough , I just wrap it around the inside of the bag then my clothes to hold it up and flat, haven't seen any problems with the strop yet, haven't had the nerve to try this with my Kanayama , but the roo has been fine. Tc
I would also suggest roo. Really flexible and tough leather. Short of creasing it you should be fine. You can roll it to put into a container if small enough and you don't have bulky hardware just simple ends. I have laid my Illinois 827 in my suitcase it as well is pretty solid and flexible. Just lay on top and shouldn't be a problem
Travel strops are the best, Here are a few of mine. I really dig the Dovo hanging mini strop. I use it alot at home when I strop heavy smiled razors. It gives me the best control
