Feedback needed on strop choice

Hey all,

Following the advice of many here on the board, I'm going to get a hanging strop. For the moment I have a rather (very) small loom strop. I nicked it quite a bit at the very start of using it (didn't know the importance of the strop really..) when not turning the blade on its spine.

Now I'm looking at the strops locally available, because I like the convenience :-)

The strop I found goes at about 75 EUR. And it seems like it would be this one:

For the moment that would be something like 98 Dollar.

It ight also be this one,though I'm pretty sure it is not:

Now I was wondering, is this strop worth the money (the top one), or can you get better stuff for that money? I didn't quite plan on spending this amount on a strop, but I suppose it'll last me a long time so a price like this is quite alright then imo.

Anyhow, I'm quite curious to hear what you have to say. I find the strop rather ugly, but hey, it's just a strop :-)

I looked at another belgian store, and looking at the price here, I suppose it's this strop at the store I'm going to:

You might want to ask Leon at The Vintage Scent. He's a true gentleman and would be helpful.

Save your small loom strop for putting paste on the nicked side and make it a travel strop.

Thanks for the replies, but I''m ony asking if that strop, the Dovo hanging strop, is worth the money, 75 EUR. As I noticed you all seem to pay a lot less for strops around here. Or am I wrong?
