i just got my new illinois strop. i also bought Jemico leather conditioner with it. my question is should i use and now or wait till the strop has been used for a while and wat exactly does it do? thanks

is your strop soft?if yes then you don't need now.you will feel strop kind a getting hard then put up a little conditioner .that should do the job.enjoy

I've never had an Illinois strop that didn't need some type of breaking in procedure.
