Very cheap diamond pasted strop (<$5)

A couple of weeks ago I bought some diamond paste (0.5 and 0.25 micron) it had just been laying there and yesterday I thought of how to make a paddle strop for it.. I just used what I could find and it worked very very well..

I used some athletics tape and a piece of wood of about 4cmx9mmx30cm I applied 2 layers of the tape(lengthwise) making sure it didn´t overlap causing bumps and then applied 2ml of the 0.5 micron diamond paste to it.

I used it about 10 laps on a razor I test shaved yesterday it was good then but it was a whole lot better now.

I think it will be great for people on a budget to touch-up their razor. I was just to lazy to get some balsa and didnt want to spend too much on a good strop just to see if I like diamond paste.
