I was stropping my razor the other day when accidentally cut the strop..
its not fully cut in two...but i would say it was almost 50% there..
is there any way i can "glue" it together?
or will i need a new strop?

I'm thinking you're pretty much SOL. There's a lot that you can get away with in terms of "fixing" a damaged strop, but half way cut in two is pretty much junk unless my idea of 50% cut in half is very different from yours.
here some pics...
i have no idea what to say.try clue fast dryer ones may help.
that is kind a huge cut. You must stropping very strong
Check the Wiki here Strop treatment and repair - Straight Razor Place Wiki and go down to "Using rubber cement to repair a deep nick".
It's a deep cut, but what do you have to lose by trying. :gl:
That is pretty much what I had pictured in my head.
I suppose that you might be able to glue it, and then rub the cut area with pumice to smooth it out and hollow it a little, but I don't think I'd try it. You'd likely as not damage any razor you tried to use on it. I'd trash that one and start over.
Sorry.
How about making paddle strop out of usable part?
oh well...
guess i have to buy a new one...
80$ to the trash!
i wasn't even using too many force while stropping...it was just how sharp the razor is....
is there anything i can use it for?
