I think it comes from one side of the leather being more dense and hence reacting differently on any imbalance of moisture. No major deal though. A bit conditioner and a hint in the right direction should do.

I noticed that the latigo strop still had a small curve on one side... I kept stropping with it, but was noticing that my edges were not as sharp as before with on razors that were shave ready just a few shaves ago.
I wrung a soaked towel and wrapped it around the strop, then I stuck it between two 2x4 and clamped the whole thing in a vise for 12hrs. When I removed it the strop is now perfectly flat. Downside is that the strop is now embossed with cloth grain pattern. I'm hoping it will wear back to normal after a bit of using.
Stroping with it now produces an even swishing(?) sound on all the lenght of the strop. I've tried it with 2 razors with good edges and they shaved well. I'll try it tomorrow with one of my razors that did not shave well and see what the results are.

Sounds good!
Is it all dry yet? Maybe a bit conditioning wouldn't be bad before it is.
It is dry by now. Flattened it 3 days ago. I've been massaging it with my hands only, I do not have any conditioner available, I don't even know where I could purchase this locally.
