Opinions on TI travel strops

Gentlemen,

I plan to start taking my straight razors on trips. When traveling now, I take my Feather AC, with an Edwin Jagger double edge razor for back up in case I run short on time.

What are your thoughts on travel strops? What do you recommend?
I have been considering the Thiers-Issard paddle travel strop in the brown leather case (Model: Voystrop-M). Any thoughts on that choice?

I ran into an old post here, which told me little. I would like some new thoughts and opinions on the travel strop. Since you gentlemen know everything about everything and I am just a pilgrim, I thought I would turn to you for advice.

I use one of Tony's 2-sided paddle strops (pasted & Latigo). He is not selling any this week but he does have a 'companion' strop made for travel that might work well. You kind of have to buy what he's selling or wait a few weeks to get what you want.

I have that TI brown case and travel strop. I keep a Mastro Livi Ebony New Grind in the little razor sleeve and have been using it for travel for the past few years. It works very nicely.

I use the TI strop too. Get used to stropping with its tip resting on a ledge or similar and the results are very good.
