Having become a recent owner of a 1/4 Le Grelot (used today for the first time and I am still levitating...:dropjaw:), and although in the instructions Martin says no to strop for the first few uses, I wonder now if the stropping should be the same as with my other razors, which are full hollows. Is there any diffrence in angle, approach or anything else to consider with a 1/4 grind, or just "strop as usual"?

Strop and hone as usual. I have found that it takes a month or so to really tune in most of the Le Grelots.

I will sometimes shave with a pre honed razor I receive without stropping first just to get a for sure assessment of the keenness of the edge as is. Once I have shaved with it one time I always strop before and after subsequent shaves with any razor. I strop them all the same.

As said above, strop and hone as you normally would, but it has a thumb notch, be careful the frist few times since I think its a little harder to strop with a thumb notch, since there is less to grip.
