where, other than specialist shaving shops, would i be able to buy cro2 stop paste, if at all?
it's just that nearby, the only shaving shop is a place called Shavershop, who recently screwed me around no end, so i'd rather not give them my business anymore
any suggestions?
Another source for CrO is Kremer Pigments. They are based in Germany, if I remember correctly. But, have a distributorship in New York from which I suspect you can order. They might have a distribution location better for you even.
Their CrO is 0.3 microns... very fine.

I just placed an order with Keith on Thursday - I got the Chromox powder. Working the order with him was reasonable and easy (he's from Jersey, so how bad could he be?).
I've already made the porch spindle/balsa strop and will paste it this weekend...my first "paste" experience...wish me luck.

Other than specialist shaving shops you can find CrO at pottery suppliers. They use it as a glaze. Be careful not to breathe it in when you open the bag. Any jarring will cause it to waft out of the bag like smoke.
