Good demonstration, just one thought though:
Wouldn´t soaking a leather in oil be a little bit too much?
I have seen many strops ruined by over-fatting.
For the beginner I recommend no oil. Rubbing the clean but unwashed hand over the strop bevore use will do just fine.
Beginners may get very confused and overdo the oil thing,
even though it is entirely unnecessary
nice video, i like that you explain why you are doing what you are doing, makes it easer for newbies to find helpful information on these videos.
