Loom Strop
I just got my first loom type strop in a trade. I love this thing, with its adjustable tension, light weight, and great feel. I'll be making some of these soon, if anyone's interested. I may never use anything else. The results I've gotten from it have been outstanding.

Please forgive my ignorance, but what exactly is a "Loom type" strop ?
Just being curious :),

Yep and the leather the Maestro uses is really nice.

I didn't know that...guess I just never looked.

Looks easy enough to make. Leather from Tony? Linen from Tilly? Hmmmm

I bought a couple of these from Caswell-Massey for $35 ea. The box label says "Streich-Riemen" and there is "Juchten" stamped on the unpasted leather side. They're very nice. They give you sort of a hanging strop feel in a paddle strop size. [I just went to the C-M website and they didn't list any strops].
PAGING MR. MILLER: how about it?
