This has been an interesting thread, but I'm troubled at the negative tone which developed.
I'm new to this forum but not to wetshaving, and have been an avid reader of SRP for over a year. We are all gentlemen in search of knowledge. I don't know the history of what transpired between The Superior Shave and SRP, nor does it matter to me. This vendor has always given me outstanding service and his customer feedback on Google Checkout is amazing. This vendor and SRD have been where I've done all my shopping for the past two years.
One of the nice things about this hobby is that often there is more than one way to get the desired results. We should all be able to post our experiences without being subjected to outright nasty responses. Those who disagree are free to ignore the approach being advocated and use whatever method works for them.
I'm not inclined to wax my Horween shell cordovan strop, but I'm interested in the thoughts of others who have vast practical experience. We all gain from our dialogue, so let's respect all viewpoints and disagree without personal attacks.
Honestly I cant' believe YOU just posted that, YOU were the one that brought the name of the Vendor into this remember, YOU made it personal...
Before your post nobody here said anything about it, the OP never mentioned who is was nor did anyone on SRP, basically all this Negativity, as you put it, is all your fault, you opened that door.. How do you feel now, that the truth was pointed out to you..
I think you should be apologizing to SRP and Jerrod for causing all these problems instead of admonishing the membership here for voicing their opinions.... JMHO
ps: 43 posts and not one person, including yourself, said "What a great idea, I am going to go buy some Turtle Wax right now"
Gentlemen. I'm closing the thread so we can all get a good nights sleep. Strop and shave in the morning if you choose and check back later after things have cooled off.
