Props on strops

Just want to brag on the quality of Tony Miller's strops. Just got my strop, bench hone w/.5 micron paste, and second strop.

The second strop is what I use now because I want to master the technique before touching the Heirloom 3 with a blade.

Great quality, great feel, great results.

As a Newbie (yes, I know I started the thread on when one is no longer a newbie! Still waiting for some humorous postings there, that was the intent) I can see the difference in quality and results when you get quality equipment. I had been using a Zeepk that I soaked in Mink oil. What a difference.

I oversaturated the Zeepk and the razor really dragged on it. I was abel to get HH sharp but what a task.

On Tony's the blades glide and I still get the HH sharpness with the added pleasure of high quality leather, and I'm just using the second!

Thanks Tony. By the way, when you buy from Tony, you get more than merchandise, even more than great service, you get the benefit of his expertise.
