How to apply cro3 powder to my paddle strop?

any tips chaps,on how to apply chromium oxide powder to my paddle strop. Is there a particular carrier I should use?

You could also put the loose powder in an empty used spice shaker to evenly distribute the powder. Then run the spine of your razor over the strop to work it in.
