Lots of tannids in oak something... no I don't know.
Made from a horse soaked in Scotch?
My guess would be like Veg Tan where they use tree bark. Not a leather guy but thats my guess. Leather - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Easy,,,it means sunbathing nude in a pine forest. :D

They put a little too much sugar in my ice coffee today.
"Tanning is the process of treating skins of animals to produce leather, which is more durable and less susceptible to decomposition. Traditionally, tanning used tannin, an acidic chemical compound from which the tanning process draws its name (tannin is in turn named for an old German word for oak or fir trees, which supplied it). Coloring may occur during tanning. A tannery is the term for a place where the skins are processed."

Using timber pulp and bark for the tannins (part of the tanning process). Perhaps be happy that it isn't Brain Tanned. Did you know every creature has enough brains to tan their own hide?! Take one skin of animal, take one brain of animal and combine the two, rubbing brains thoroughly into skin...Strop on that :)
