High enough where he can't reach them...maybe over the top of a door? Then just move to the towel bar when you shave.
Mine are on the inside of my bedroom closet door on a few over the door hooks.
I grab the razor of the day, got to my closet pop a strop on the handle strop away and go shave.
This works well for me as I keep my razors in the bedroom as well to keep small hands off of them.
Ironically my 11 year old is more of an issue than my 5 year old....

I have dogs same issue, anything hanging they consider free game, toilet paper on the roll...ect. Install (2) hooks for your strop(s), one in your bedroom closet back wall the other in the bathroom or were you shave. :gl:Quote:

Install two screw eyes, one at the top of the door jamb to store the strop high and out of kids reach.
Install the second screw eye at elbow height in the same door jamb so you can comfortably strop the razor. I find that a hanging strop at elbow height allows you to comfortably strop on a level plane.
This is why I got the quick clasp so I can keep mine high on the side of my towel cupboard on a hook & move to the towel rack on the piece of thonging when I use it, so the the minis can't reach when they visit
you can hang it on a hanger and bring it out as necessary. not super convenient but out of reach from the lil' terror.
Never had an issue besides a little glitter from one of the girls princess outfits rubbed off onto the strop. Didn't seem to affect the stropping. Strops still hang from the towel bar unmolested by little hands.

I have a 6 year old, and when I am at. Home my strop lives on a hanger in my wardrobe until I need it. Paracord and caribiners make life easier. :)
I am a bit older now and my kids are well past the point of getting into my stuff. But when they were young, when I told them not to touch something, they didn't touch it. The same as I was when I was a kid with my parents things.
Putting things out of reach just makes them want it more.
Putting it up high is putting a patch on it...Put it in front of them and tell them its not theirs, and if they touch it, there will be consequences to their actions.
And I am NOT saying a flogging with the strop. :gl:

I just leave it hanging on the door handle in plain sight. For some reason it makes the 2 year old not even notice it.
