Guess what, they are fast. And that is why I switched out a perfectly good piece of leather that I 'conditioned' for one of his new fast leathers.....no kidding, they are fast.....what jolly fun. Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive....Shaveman!

Happy ur enjoying ur new strop.. But u really don't need speed to get a good stropping.. It's about form and making sure the spine and edge are in contact with the strop.. And just going at a nice pace making sure your paying attention.. I have had some pretty great friends from srp destroy very good strops because they were careless .. It's not a race.. And I'm no expert by any means.. But when I started out I watched all the speed racers on YouTube and thought hey that's what I should b doing .. A few strops later i realized to slow down..

I'm actually finding that I prefer my 'slow' Roo strop over my 'fast' English Bridle. The Roo just feels like it's doing more to the blade. Each to their own though and I'm glad you're enjoying your new speedstrop!

Speed is relative, the strop that I 'conditioned' before conditioning was a, I guess, medium draw. After conditioning it felt like the strop had rare earth magnets in it and fought me. While I emphasized the speed of the strop, my hand is not a blur going up and down the strop. It feels good after about 3 months of hand to leather combat. I'll add that Tony Miller is a genuine nice guy.
