The only feasible place in my bathroom is on the door trim next to the shower stall. I'm apprehensive to put it there because of all the moisture. The only other option is in my closet. Would love to hear your feedback?

I have an alcove just outside my bathroom. That's where I normally hang it, just apart from the constant or standing humidity fluctuation of the bathroom itself. Otherwise, it hangs in my bedroom, several feet away.
I hang both my strops in the bathroom. The hooks are in the trim on the hinge side of the door. Keep my razors in bathroom also. Have a good exhaust fan that removes the moisture.
I have a hook in the bathroom for a strop but it is only occupied when I'm shaving. My strops hang in the walk-in closet when not in use.
I have a 4 hook holder the Mrs picked up for me at some craft shop, not super expensive.

Doorknob, between Door and the wall.
On a hook which is on a cabinet next to the sink. I don't have any real moisture in our bathroom. So they are kept there
I keep my razors and strop in a chest of drawers in my office/radio "shack" room. Mostly to keep other family members from inadvertently hurting themselves with the razor, but also to avoid the humidity. For the strop, I tied about a 5" length of thick cord to the strop's clip, and tied a thick "knot ball" on the tag end. To strop, I simply open the drawer, take out the strop and drape the cord over the top edge and close the drawer, capturing the cord. Strop the razor, and then replace the strop in the drawer to keep dust off of it. It actually takes longer to describe the process than to actually do it!
