When it comes to strops the differences between any quality piece is with the user. A strop like the kanayama provides a true luxurious and pleasurable experience no matter the model. That doesn't mean it is better at it's task. I have "The Raven" which is a Cordovan Strop made from Horween Shell and is astronomically priced. It's very nice but I prefer to use either of my Kanayama's. I also have a Duble Duck extra heavy horsehide which is a pleasure to use also.

The 60000 is 660mm long, the 50000 is 600mm long. So the 60000 is 60mm longer than the 50000, not 6mm. The difference is about 2 inches. The longer strop is for people with longer arms or that just prefer a long strop. Neither comes with a suede piece as supplied by AFrames Tokyo.
Take the thicknesses with a grain of salt, they vary a little from strop to strop.
