    I finished the strop and it came out fairly decent. I took a series of pictures with a newly acquired iphone 11, but have found no way to transfer them to jpegs that will upload to this site. Sorry.

    I really like my roo stroop for my straight razors. It has a really smooth draw. The strop was sold by SRD in the States.
    A healthy skepticism of both old and new ideas is essential to learning.

    The kangaroo leather I got was really too thin for my purpose. But, I'll probably use it on some other project.
