Removing paste from SRD webbing.

Has anyone removed paste from the SRD webbing?

I pasted one but would like to remove the paste now. So I was wondering what would be the best way to do it.

I pasted it with the CroOx crayon thing they sell at SRD.

What about just fliping it around, so the clean side is exposed?

The screws are easy to remove.

Damn, Ben beat me to it... Yep, I was just going to say unscrew it, then screw it back in, clean side out.

Yeah I know I can do that but I was hoping there was a way to remove it instead.

not much to do about that

A 3" webbed fabric replacement is $6.99 at SRD + shipping. That is a sure way to have a clean one and still have the other if you decide you want to strop on some chrome-ox.

Or you can hold the leather piece in your mouth while you strop on the webbing piece on the crox side. It works for me.

If it's possible to unscrew all the hardware and have the webbed fabric on its own then why could you not simply put it in the washing machine?
