Update on Strop Advice

Talked with Phil at Pecard Chemical about restoring my old strop (see Strop Advice) and he felt that the Antique Leather Care product that they have would be ideal for nourshing the leather. He also suggested that I only do the back and the sides with a light coat followed up later with another light coat. This he says will penetrate the leather and would suffice. He also mentioned applying a light coat once a year to nourish the leather
