Hello everyone,
Can anyone suggest other ways to hang a strop in the bathroom other than the towel rack? There is limited space, and there must be some kind of hook or ring out there that can be screwed into a stud.
Thanks.

Check the hardware isle of whatever store you go to. You can get the larger "cup hooks" that work. That's what I've got..right next to the towel rack.

I have limited space as well, so I picked up a couple of hooks, installed them behind the bathroom door, I have one about waist-high for stropping and the other higher up to keep them out of reach from the kid and cat when not in use.
Hopefully this pic loads.
Check this thread for some ideas........

Thanks for the replies, the stropboard is a good idea. The towel rack won't hold out much longer!
I use one of those hooks that goes over the door. It's made for hanging robes, towells, or something, but it works well for strops.
...and it was cheap...
Good idea but that might be a little high for me.
Boating shops often have nice brass fittings that will work for hanging a strop.

That just gave me a great idea for something a little different to hang strops from:

I know these are not brass, but I only did a quick search. I think I'll go with one somewhere around the size of the middle two. One side for the strops not in use and the other for, well you know. Now, the only problem is locating a place that sales boat tie-downs here in the middle of the desert. Thanks for the suggestion of checking a boat shop. :beer1:
