What to use for maintenance on a TM Latigo strop?

Maintenance in what way? Keeping the leather in good condition? Cleaning it? Repairing nicks?

Tony Miller says all you need to do is give it a good rubbing with the palm of your hand , everyday . That's what I do for mine , and it works fine .
