English Bridle Leather PIF

PIF IS OVER! I hope you guys enjoy your leather...

I have a lot of English Bridle leather pieces that I am giving away. The leather is being given away. I would like $2.50 for postage. (I would give away the postage, but the amount of leather being PIFd is too much to absorb all the postage.)

I am giving away pieces up to the size that will fit into an 8.5" x 11" manila envelope.

Please send me an email to LarryAndro@GMail.com with your name and address with the subject being English Bridle PIF and I will take care of everything else. Please include in the body of the message a description of your size needs, the dimensions of leather you would like.

Very cool! I have tried Larry's leather and it is quite nice. A small length of a 1" x 2" with this laeather glued on to it would make a dynamite paddle strop!

Received the leather....

The plan: Cut the d rings off an old belt. Already ordered Chicago screws, assemble mini-hanging strop, find some place to travel, bring strop, use strop! :)

Clearly I've ironed out all the details!

I received the leather the other day and fashioned myself a travel paddle strop. Works great. Thanks, Larry! I've purchased a few items from Larry and I have to say that his customer service is exceptional - low prices too. Thanks again Larry!

I got my leather yesterday too!

I cut to size and punched a hole in each end. Some old laces go on and I've got a nice hanging travel strop.

Larry, your generosity is much appreciated. I originally asked for enough to replace the Latigo on my SRD 2" strop. To me, this was borderline asking too much, I would have been more than happy with less. I received 2.75" wide which tapered to a hair over 2.5" and about 3" more length than the strop originally had. I trimmed the strops width to an even 2.5" for the whole length, then punched out the mounting holes and secured it with the 2" SRD end/handle.

I don't like 3" wide strops as I have always used 2"-2.5" with x-strokes. I prefer an x-pattern over just straight back and forth. Personal preference. Bottom line though. This leather is great. First time I used it I did 200 laps just because the feel was so nice!

Definitely sounds like some fun times. I actually used to know someone who had a pet duck. I don't think it ate any prescriptions though. :)
