Thread: SRD Modular Paddle- what's the scruffy leather for?

Nothing less than delighted with SRD Modular Paddle- for the sake of experiencing the difference between diamond and crox sprays on felt- jibes with what I'd already read. But, what is the purpose of the rough leather pad- where in my stropping routine does it fit?

You can use it as a pre-stropping panel - like you would a fabric or poly-web strop.

Or you can coat it with an abrasive paste like CrOx, and use it for touch-ups.

I use mine like this Ruff Leather nothing on it 10 + laps,30 + on untreteated Felt, then 50 +on the smooth leather that is what works for me you will find what works for you in no time. Then after I've shaved 5 on Ruff leather, 10 on Felt, 10 on Smooth and I put Diamond on the other Felt and use as needed. If it's needed iuse it first then do my normal routine
