Lynn's Paddle Strop

Well Guys I hope this runs ok for everyone. I have a Lynn's Paddle Strop i'm very happy with it and it works nice for me. Just to show the community my cover. The main issue with the paddles is that one the main uses is for traveling but you need to protect them. I create this using genuine cow suete. For looking purposes I used dress buttons ( no noice and no damage to the paddle like the other metal buttons does) because in that way for me is more easy.

I just stick it in a plastic bag. Don't want to fight with buttons and such. Velcro may would be faster. Cool idea, though.

Good craftsmanship, very nice, but watch out for the TSA, they can scuff up anything.

Great idea! Seems like the perfect travel set-up. I have to get myself one of those one day lol.

if you have those leather and felt pads pasted, how do you avoid grit contamination?

Well:

Been honest with you for this kind of leather I don't pasted them. The only thing I do is spray the felt with the diamond solution. But speaking about paste I do belive that if you cover each pasted felt or leather separately and then put it in a plastc bag as is shown you will not have any issues.

I do not paste the leather strops I use with Lynn's paddle strop. I do have several of the felt strops with various pastes and I store them separately in the plastic bag each one comes in. I also store the leathers I am not current using in the plastic bag they come with.
