Making my own Strop
So I've decided to attempt making my own strop...I've got some nice Latigo leather picked out and I just got my Crox from srd. My problem now is finding the right hardware. My current strop has Chicago screws at the top of it which I like for taking it apart. I've seen where to buy them from. I can not seem to find the metal pieces that clamps the leather together. Hopefully someone has some suggestions. Thanks

When I made a couple of strops a while back I found everything I needed at a local Tandy outlet. I'm not *quite* sure what exactly you're looking for, but maybe you'll find it here:
Leathercraft Hardware - Tandy Leather Factory
EDIT: Forgot to say: good luck!

Whippeddog also sells strop hardware for cheap. And +1 on the good luck! Please post finished pics.

Thanks a lot for the replies. I found exactly what I wanted on whipped dog. In the strop and razor maintenance section he has an item labeled buckle sold separately. That is exactly what I wanted. The price is a little saltier than I was hoping. I really don't know what that piece is called though. I will probably get it from Larry though. He's a good guy and he's helped me out in the past. Thanks again for all the replies.
P.S.
I will send pics when I'm done
