That sounds like Dovo yellow which is non abrasive. It is meant to be used like you would neatsfoot oil.

Cheers
I'll give it a go sometime
I'm a beginner straight blade shaver (today will be my 3rd shave) and this is my first post. Despite my thorough research it seems I missed about strop dressing and so ordered some with my strop purchase. I bought a Straight Razor Designs strop and "Fromm Strop Dressing" (img below). Should I be using it or return it? If I should use it, how often should I use it?

Have you tried using the search function on the web page? You can find almost anything using the search function. One note on that though, if you are using taptalk, aka mobile, the search function sucks lol.

I would read the whole thread.

If you want the strop to respond it's very important to treat it as soon as you get it.
The best routine is probably dinner and a movie and don't make the faux paux of ordering it a steak. They are all vegetarians.
Mine is cowhide, and when I bought her a steak, she got all stroppy!
On this page, (Swedish), they say treat your strop before EVERY TIME you strop... haha!
Dovo Läderbalsam
Have to send them a mail about that.
