    Default CrOx transfer

So I'm in the process of moving back home from college and made the poor decision of putting my pasted strop and my recular strop together. Some how the crox crayon transfered to both the linnen and leather of my regular strop. Does anyone know any good romoval techniques? and if it is embedded does anyone know a good replacement leather that would fit the Illinois Razor Strop hardware? Thanks in advance

The linen can be cleaned with some hot water and soap and a scrub brush and some elbow grease. Depending on how long it's been on the leather and the amount some leather cleaner like Bic may take it off. I'd try that first and see what happens.

I remember other threads about removing unwanted paste transfer. IIRC the consensus was that complete removal would be impossible. The method suggested was to clean the leather with saddle soap. For a waxed linen strop the presence of wax makes washing troublesome; however a soaped linen strop could be more easily cleaned.

You likely already found this Contaminated strop thread, its the only one I could find quickly.

    Pics?????

I wouldn't get too crazy over a tiny transfer, so pics would help here, keep in mind that a little transfer isn't going to "HURT" the razor
