I have listed a bunch of vintage linen firehose on my website for the DIY guys. This is from 1964, genuine linen, unused but a take out from an old building. Fairly clean but a few small stains and the inevitable folds. Selling 26" pieces to allow for shrinkage in washing and also offering with a kit of hardware to complete your own strop.

My Premium Steerhide is back again after 8 months. A nice, nearly flaw free firm leather with a nice smooth, light draw. Available in 2 1/2" and 3" widths with D-ring grips or heavy 3-ply handles and either cotton or Genuine Flax Linen.

Also running a little sale on the last pieces of my Steerdovan, a fast, Cordovan like steerhide. I have a single 3" stop left in black and a pair of 2 1/2" strops in brown. All with D-ring grips and cotton. Handles can be added upon request and I can still make one of the 2 1/2" strops with a traditional, straight cut end if desired.

If I didn’t have one of each, I’d buy one right now.

I bought the Steerdovan. Talk about Greased Lightening. This thing is super fast. I thought my Roo was fast when i got it. Not compared to this one. Tony says it will slow down after some use. Nice piece added to my collection. Thanks Tony!

I must say ive stropped at least 15 razors on it and it is still slick as snot! It may be getting a little draw now. Maybe! Guessing 2k+ laps.

Tony I have used your red latigo for ten years now... finally decided to get another and purchased your horsehide. Very happy with it, and a nice compliment to the heavy-draw latigo... It's also a beautiful piece of leather that looks like it will age well.

I wish I had ordered linen a decade ago (my latigo has the cotton), but at least I have it now!

Default 3" Genuine Flax Linen Is Back !

I was finally able to source 3" Genuine Flax Linen once again. It has been a few years since I was able to offer this and I am glad to have it back. I have updated my storefront to make this an option on any of my 3" Artisan grade strops.

This is a firm, but flexible material with no stretch and a nice herringbone weave. Nice natural woodsy aroma as well ! Genuine linen has a slightly abrasive surface to it and many feel it aids in achieving sharpness over standard cotton webbing.

2" and 2 1/2" genuine Flax Linen is also available.
