I just watched a shaving video from Boker. They did the video in the silent film style which was somewhat entertaining. There was razor grip used @ 6:20 I've never seen before.

Yup, never saw that grip before either. Seems to quite a bit of going over the same spot several times. Oh well, whatever works.

I noticed the going over the same area several times, also.
Interesting vid. The angles where making me cringe with that grip
Just tried this grip. Its seams to be easy shave along my goatee.
Thank you Leatherstockiings!!!:tu
Well, I just like watching shave videos and occasionally post a link if I think they are interesting.
As far as instructional videos go, Lynn Abrams's videos are as good as they get. There is also the barber school video, I think it's called the blue video, that is very good. Finally, I have been been watching certain barbershop videos very carefully to catch tips and techniques. A couple to watch are Alain, master barber of Paris, and Razorguy's new Mastro Livi series.
I feel obligated to throw out a warning after watching some particularly bad shaving technique in a video yesterday evening. There are a lot of shaving hobbyist and vendors making videos. A lot of them are just plain bad.
Interesting technique. He seems to have more cream on his vest and the mirror than on his face.....until the end of the video! ;)
