Three minute total trip. That's a head shaving Jedi.
Kind regards,
Yes, he is our Yoda. ;)

Jimbo kudos .. for your own head shave ......... I've still not got the confidence to attempt it .. the back of my neck is the closet I get , still use the wet n dry clippers or a safety when I do mine ..
:tu Garry
Cheers Garry.
A lot of it does boil down to confidence - the first couple of times are fairly scary, but once you get a few under your belt without major incident you realise it's not so different to shaving your face.
I'd encourage you to give it a go and throw away those Bics! ;)
James.
Jimbo, you are a braver man than I!! You've got to give us a "how to"...
:yThanks Jimbo! Your encouragement led me to try a head shave yesterday - it went well enough to give it another go today. Not as smooth as my face but pretty darn good and I enjoy having that much more area to shave (some, anyway - not much left on top!)
Congratulations! Head shaving is addictive with the straight. I can only speak from personal experience, but it's helped a lot with my face shaving technique too.
I used to think there was no upside to being follicly challenged. Nowadays I feel blessed to have another part of my body I can use a straight on. ;)
James.
i had my first head shave and i went to barber shop and they use straight razor then gillette shaver on me and now i dont wanna hair on top anymore
Ok -- I've actually shaven about a half inch of hair
off with just a straight, and my shave went nothing
like that! Mine was slow, and hair would accumulate
on the cutting edge and need to be rinsed. This guy's
strokes are so fast he throws the hair off with the
razor :)

Hehe, half-inch all over. I have a bit of a
receeding hairline, but there's still hair on
all sides of my head.
I had to get the wife to pick up some Drano
after that event, however.

Yes, that is why I invested in that enamelled tin bowl I use. Too much hair down the sink equals angry wife and a lifelong love affair with the s-bend.
James.
Haha.. James your a funny looking dood...nice skin head... that guy shaved you quick.. reminds me when my brother and I used to give each other haircuts lol
Cheers
D
Bet you've been called a few things in your day James
funny looking ???? :roflmao
My wife says I look as scary as hell when I shave my head , I've been keeping it short short with a wet n dry hair trimmer still too chilly for taking it all off just now
.. And no .. I've still not had the balls to try it with a straight yet
cheers Garry
That is all I want in life!!!
Sorry to necro my own thread but I noticed the video links are dead. I think it must have been on the old google video site before they took over Youtube and transferred the videos across.
For anyone interested, here's a working link to the video.

Interesting! I have long hair right now, but it is thinning. I can't imagine going back to short hair again (I've had long hair as an adult longer than I had short hair as a kid) and all of the styling hassle, so I think bald will be my look when I can't support long hair anymore.
I wonder, it looks like you just shaved straight back; does hair direction play no role in shaving your head?
Not the way I do it, no. Lol! Basically I do that every day as a way to circumvent having to worry about going atg on the back of my head. I've tried a couple of times but for me the effort is not worth it, and I can get close enough to a bbs this way.
