brush: redneck 28mm silvertip
lather: cstewarts cream (second batch) + glycerin + my redneck soap in my redneck scuttle
filmed live on location in my new shave den! sorry for the odd lighting, there is a skylight and the clouds were passing by making the light change a lot.

Thanks for taking the time to make these vids, Im only a lttle over a month in straight shaving and appreciate the tutorials. I am going to try the Japaneese grip today for the neck, that has been a bit of a trouble area fro me, Im thinking my grip had a lot to do with that.

Do you use more than a 30 angle on your ATG neck passes? It seems like you use an aggressive stroke. I have a heavy beard and it seems I can't get smooth on my neck unless I use a heavy angle. Should I stop doing this? It is damaging to the blade?

eh, that's only part of it, it's like 12 feet long (double sink + vanity, all one mirror).

Thanks for the updated video. I liked the other one, but I prefer the new one since you cut everything. I have similar hair growth pattern on my neck, so I think your demo will benefit me quite a bit. About a month into straight shaving after 3 years of DE shaving, and I'm starting to get the hang of it! Thanks again!

This vid is better in the sense that you shave your whole beard and moustache..however a suggestion for v. 3 would be to let someone else film and hold the camera..also to zoom in a bit.

Great video. Lots of good tips for the new guy (like me, lol). It really helps to see it all actually being used slowly and with dialog.

Newbs like me need to be careful with the upper lip 'scoop'. I dug my blade in there and scooped a chunk out of mine. Luckily, my Dovo was Lynn honed, and the cut was very clean and sealed immediately with styptic.

Took a week to fully heal and while you can't see a scar, I see still feel the missing bit that was scooped.

Nice video, no offence, but my only critique is the waste of water I can hear!

Nice video jockeys! Also meaning no offence, your French pronunciation is a bit anglicized. Say "coo de mater".
