Regrind question
Gents..
I have a blade that has a crack near the toe of the razor.. It can't be honed out. I'm gonna actually try and grind it out Can I use a dremel with grinding bit?? I don't have a full size grinder..so what can I use?? I do have a dremel and do most of my restores wet sanding etc by hand?? Not attachment to razor more learning

I personally use a cutting bit as the spine is really tough.

Keep it cool and yeah that spine is going to take awhile to cut through with a Dremmel. I just tried it some with a thin cutting wheel. I use a belt sander as much as possible. Never had a crack so far in I had to cut. Be careful with that thing !

I cut the toe off of a blade with a crack using a Dremel. I held the dremel stationary with a thin cutting blade and brought the blade to the wheel while holding an ice cube against the opposite side. Kept everything cool while cutting and it zipped right through. Good Luck!
