Has anyone found magnetic blades harder to sand
I got a magnetic blade off the bay recently (not telling which one yet) and I was working on sanding out some of the very light pitting last night. I went all the way down to 220 grit sandpaper and it barely seems to have touched the pitting. I don't know if this razor is just really hard or what, but it took significantly less time and energy to sand down my other blades.

Well, it may be your other experiences possibly?
I find that heavy wedges seem softer and easier to sand than extra hollows (and the mags I have worked with were full or extra hollow).
The restorer cannot "muscle" a full hollow as much...perhaps this can explain?
I don't have as much experience or wisdom as some here, but usually when I stumble on something in my shop like this it is something simpler that it seems at first.
Hope something I said helps somehow.
